Position Summary
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University has an opening for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position. This is a one-year appointment for the 2023-2024 academic year, beginning in August 2023. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering primarily in the area of design.

Duties and Responsibilities
Villanova is a Carnegie-classified doctoral university, and the Mechanical Engineering faculty are internationally recognized for their research achievements. The department has 24 full-time faculty members, approximately 300 undergraduate students, and 100 graduate students (including 48 Ph.D. students). - The successful candidate will teach 12 contact hours per semester.
- A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or closely aligned discipline is required (must be completed at the time of hire).
