Tenure track appointments are full-time with an initial probationary period of seven years. Criteria for promotion includes significant achievements in 四虎影视, research/scholarship, and service. The award of tenure is based on potential for sustained contributions, performing beyond expected duties, and demonstrating leadership and innovation in activities that enhance the reputation of the University.

The Clinical Scholar Track is for full-time faculty members who are heavily involved in clinical service, education, and related scholarship. This track has two career paths: Clinician-Educator concentrating on 四虎影视 and Clinician-Investigator for concentrating on research/scholarship. Significant contributions in professional and academic service are required for both paths.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications

Education: MD or DO from an accredited university. Completed a three-year fellowship from an accredited program in Cardiology and a one-year fellowship from an accredited program in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant.

Work Experience: Five years of clinical experience in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Experience: Past leadership position with direct reports.

Skills

• Management of complex Advanced Heart Failure, VAD, and Cardiac Transplant patients.
• Experience in leading people.

Job Duties Outlined:

• Lead a team of cardiologists in an Advanced Heart Failure Division caring for patients in need of Cardiac Transplantation or Ventricular Assist Devices.
• Provide high level care in both an inpatient and ambulatory setting for patients.
• Excel in collaboration in a large successful Advanced Heart Failure Program.
