Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University's mission of Training Champions for Christ. It is expected that an adjunct member models a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University, engage in an active commitment to, and experience of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview. Adjuncts should view their 四虎影视, engagement with students, and scholarship as a means to a significant educational end. They should strive to employ a variety of techniques for the development of good learning conditions, view each student as a unique individual, and insofar as it is possible, provide for individual differences, abilities, and interests.
As we ask all faculty to model a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty, we also require all School of Divinity students to align with our doctrinal distinctives. The classroom setting is Biblically rooted and Gospel centered where open dialogue is welcome.

Education and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Conferred Doctoral degree in related field.
- Clinical Pastoral Educator (CPE) Certified.
- Board Certification from the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or the National Association of Veterans Affairs Chaplains (NAVAC).
- Over 10 years of chaplaincy and pastoral experience.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated poise, Christian integrity, tact, judgment, and diplomacy.
- Possess a high level of resourcefulness and be a strong team player.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information is required.
- Continuously strive for improvement and innovation in all aspects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Technologically savvy: able to learn and navigate the LMS (Canvas) and other Liberty systems.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills and responds promptly and professionally.
- Proven experience in Canvas Course Development and Teaching.
