Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields, and preferably postdoctoral research experience.
A record of publications in the area of Analytical Chemistry/Biochemistry/Life Sciences, with a preference in Mass Spectrometry.

Teaching Experience.
Areas of special interest are development of new methods and their applications in such areas as single cell MS, Glycoproteomics, Chemoproteomics, Lipidomics, and MS Imaging.

Description:The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma seeks applicants for two full-time tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in Analytical Chemistry, with a preference in Mass Spectrometry in Life Sciences, with a starting date of August 15, 2026, and 四虎影视 one course per semester. The successful candidate will have experience in Analytical Chemistry, with a preference for mass spectrometry (MS), and an emphasis on applying this technique to solve urgent problems in the life sciences. The candidate will align with the OU Strategic Theme of "The Future of Health" and contribute to the growing community in life sciences, drug discovery, disease diagnosis, and treatment as part of the OU Institute for the Future of Health. These new hires will also promote interactions and collaborations among members of the OU Norman Campus, OU Health Campus, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Tulsa. Because modern mass spectrometry techniques can be applied to various research areas, these new faculty members will enhance studies across multiple life sciences disciplines. The department is seeking an innovative teacher and colleague who is prepared to inspire our chemistry and biochemistry students interested in the life sciences.
