Job Description

The Department of Dermatology, University of Alabama at Birmingham invites
applications for tenured, tenure earning and non-tenure earning faculty
positions in General/Medical Dermatology. Academic rank will reflect the
qualifications of the successful applicant. The candidate should have an M.D. or
M.D./Ph.D. Applicants should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
and be able to obtain an Alabama medical license. Clinical responsibilities will
include provision of outpatient clinic services, inpatient consultations and supervision
of residents and medical students. Candidates must have an Alabama medical
license and DEA prior to appointment.

The Department of Dermatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham stands

UAB Medicine is the third-largest public academic medical center in the country, with more than 1,900 beds and almost 18,000 employees. This acquisition added 5,000 employees, 409 beds, and outpatient facilities, which include hospitals in Birmingham, Blount, Chilton, East, and St. Clair counties; the One Nineteen campus; the Trussville Freestanding Emergency Department; imaging centers; and other clinics.
