Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with training and experience in STEM-focused education and research or experience in semiconductor design and development as well as engineering management. We seek candidates who support excellence in all aspects of faculty responsibility, including within the classroom, the academic community, and their professional commitments. Candidates should include in their cover letter a discussion of how they will support the college's commitment to student success and educational excellence.

Candidates for the position must possess a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline with at least one degree in either engineering, computer science, or data science disciplines.

Description:

The Gallogly College of Engineering seeks applications for a full-time, ranked, renewable-term assistant or associate professor of practice for our newly launched online M.S. Program in Semiconductor Management. The Gallogly College of Engineering is rapidly growing with a strategic focus on increasing the number of engineering graduates and increasing our research portfolio. Our plan for student body growth is built around new programs that support and educate our student body in meaningful ways, including new and innovative online degree programs that address engineering workforce advanced education. This position includes serving as the M.S. program director, developing online courses, and 四虎影视 subjects such as Fundamentals of Semiconductors, Fundamentals of Semiconductor Processing, Fundamentals of Semiconductor Devices, Material Characterization, Engineering Operations and Project Management, and Technical Communications. To design these courses, the individual in this position will collaborate with other faculty, including those in the Schools of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Sustainable Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering; and Industrial and Systems Engineering. The successful candidate will not be eligible for tenure but will otherwise have full faculty rights and privileges and a pathway to promotion.

Applicants must be committed to excellence in the practice of 四虎影视 at the graduate level in an online format. Applicants with demonstrated experience either as instructor of graduate-level courses and/or experience with the semiconductor industry will be given preference. The ranked renewable assistant or associate professor will have a 75% commitment to 四虎影视 graduate courses and 25% allocated to management of the program, professional development, instructional research, or institutional service. Duties may include student advising, guiding student research, helping to structure and foster the online graduate program mission of the college, contributing to the scholarship of 四虎影视 and learning, and participating in departmental and university service, and other appropriate activities.
