Job Description

This position will promote the Professional Life Skills program focusing on the development of successful professionalism for CVM students. Professional Life Skills includes abilities such as communication, decision-making, problem-solving, creative thinking, and critical thinking. Candidates will support the Professional Life Skills team in developing, delivering, and assessing students in required professional skills lectures & labs. The individual would assist in the organizing and training of the veterinary clients and simulations sessions with students. Candidates will also assist in daily record keeping and logistics of the program.

Required Qualifications

Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively to a variety of constituents.

Preferred Qualifications

o Graduate degree in academic or healthcare, from an accredited institution. o Experience advising pre-professional or professional students. o Experience working with adult learners.

Job Duties
  • Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University.
  • Foster effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students.
  • Participate in University committees.
  • Support the delivery of the Professional Skills Curriculum.
  • Support the Coordinator of Professional Life Skills.
  • Aid in the delivery of simulated clients and scenarios for case simulations.
  • Assist in the evaluation of simulated client performance.
  • Collect, interpret, and log student data and course records.
  • Support the delivery of presentation, seminar, small group discussion, and/or clinical assignments.
  • Support the training and development of Veterinary Clients, Faculty, and Staff facilitators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
