Job DescriptionThe Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship (BCCCC) is the
leading resource for Fortune 1000 companies looking to align their business
goals with social impact. We are seeking a high-caliber Assistant Director
of Corporate Sponsorships to initiate new revenue generating business by
engaging current and prospective members.
This role is responsible for securing over $1M in revenue through multi-year conference
sponsorships and custom executive education programs.
This position is responsible for:
Revenue
Growth: Take the lead on hitting and
exceeding our $1M+ annual sponsorship goal for our flagship conference.
Strategic
Prospecting: Identify, cold-call, and
qualify leads within Fortune 1000 companies, navigating complex corporate
hierarchies to reach key decision-makers.
Executive
Education Sales: Build a robust "book of
business" by matching our world-class executive education programs
with the specific developmental needs of our member companies.
Relationship
Management: Deepen engagement with our
existing member network, ensuring they see the Center as an indispensable
partner in their CSR and ESG journeys.
Market
Intelligence: Act as a
"boots-on-the-ground" consultant, identifying emerging market
needs and feeding that intelligence back to our product and content teams.
We are seeking a candidate with the following skills:
Proven
Closer: You have a track record of
securing high-six-figure and seven-figure deals within the corporate
sector.
The
Fortune 1000 Specialist: You speak the language of the
C-Suite and ESG directors. You aren't intimidated by a cold call, but you
know that a long-term partnership is built on trust and value.
Strategic
Connector: You don't just sell a product;
you identify a need and customize a solution, whether it's a conference
sponsorship or a bespoke education package.
Collaborative
Representative: You can represent the prestige
of Boston College with poise, professionalism, and academic integrity.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $72,450 to $90,550; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or commensurate combination of experience and training required.
3 - 5 years professional level fundraising or sales experience with a proven record of soliciting and closing transactions of $10,000 minimum ($~$1million + annually)
This position may travel as much as 25% of the year to attend our courses, annual conference, and meet with members.
Center staff are expected to work in the office.
