Department Summary
This position will serve as an addition to ESPN+ and other Ohio Athletics broadcast productions as needed. Major duties include, but not limited to, assist with Ohio Athletics broadcast and other productions.
Position Profile
Creates content and programming for a variety of media platforms including radio, television, and web. Delivers relevant programming to the community designed to engage listeners and viewers. Ensures that media platforms effectively engage the University community and contribute to external communication strategies.
Level Summary
Performs professional-level work that involves basic, operational problem-solving. Independently resolves day-to-day issues and executes clearly defined tasks. Provides data analysis and informational insights to support decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None; may assist with training student employees.
Fiscal Responsibilities
No budgetary responsibility. May be responsible for validating transactions.
Problem Solving
Solves routine problems with defined processes and guidance.
Independence of Action
Works under close supervision.
Communication and Collaboration
Collaborates with peers and follows guidance from supervisor.
Physical Requirements
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and less than 3 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Pay Rate: The targeted hiring range for this position is $16.84 - $18.00 per hour. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.
