Organizational Unit Overview:
Job Duties:
- Provide group fitness instruction during periods when student instructors are unavailable (e.g., academic breaks, summer)
- Fill schedule gaps in the student staffing pool to ensure consistent program delivery
- Offer continuity and experienced leadership to maintain high program quality
- Supplement instruction in specialized formats or time slots difficult to staff with student employees
- Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification and blood-borne pathogens training within 60 days of hire
- Demonstrated competency in leading group exercise activities in land-based and aquatic environments
- NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) accredited and/or specialty (LesMills, Zumba, etc) group fitness certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
