Biblical Principles and Expectations: Faculty help to further Malone鈥檚 mission to provide students with an education based on biblical
faith in order to develop men and women in intellectual maturity, wisdom, and Christian faith who are committed to serving the Church,
community, and world.

I. University Overview

Affiliated with the Evangelical Friends-Eastern Region denomination, Malone
strives to provide an education that produces graduates with a love of truth and a vibrant, mature faith. Our intent is that students attain
the wisdom, knowledge, and skills necessary to serve, engage, and transform the communities in which they live and work. To this end, we
provide the curricular and co-curricular context in which to pursue the following educational goals:

• Understand and critically
  engage those bodies of knowledge and cultural influences that have shaped the world.
• Understand the biblical, historical, and
  theological foundations of the Christian faith.

III. Job Summary

Malone University
seeks an Assistant Professor of Social Work, including the Bachelor鈥檚 of Social Work (BSW) Program and the new, soon-to-be launched Master鈥檚
of Social Work (MSW) Program. This position may include 四虎影视 ground and online courses for both undergraduate and graduate students.

The successful candidate will possess the qualifications necessary to assume primary responsibilities for micro and mezzo level social
work practice methods, social work research courses, and other courses as needed. Depending on experience and candidate strengths and
experience, the position may include administrative responsibilities for the programs.

IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties, tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain an average 四虎影视 load of 24 credit hours per academic year
• Willingness to teach courses on campus and online in both the BSW and MSW Programs
• Review and revise courses
• Willingness to develop online courses
• Advise and mentor students
• Engage in student assessment
• Work as a team
  with social work faculty toward continued program development
• Provide support for accreditation
• Participate in service
  opportunities at Malone University, within the community, and within the church
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research,
  professional publications, national, state, and community peer-reviewed and invited presentations, etc.
• Integrate Christian faith
  into course curriculum
• Participate in a Christian Faith Integration course during the second year

V. Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated excellence in 四虎影视 in higher education; preferably in both the ground and online 四虎影视
  delivery formats
• Online course development experience is preferred
• Personal commitment to the Christian faith
• Willingness to integrate Christian faith into course curriculum

VI. Education and Experience

• A Ph.D. or DSW
  degree is preferred, but extensive professional practice experience with an MSW degree, particularly for those with a willingness to
  complete a doctoral degree will be considered.
• Master鈥檚 in Social Work or the equivalent from a CSWE-accredited university, or the
  international equivalent, but recognized by CSWE.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the practice of social work,
  post-Master鈥檚 degree
• LISW eligibility in Ohio is preferred
