Position Highlights
The University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine (UA-CVM) invites applications for a faculty position with a focus on veterinary clinical pathology. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be 四虎影视 clinical pathology within both the pre-clinical and clinical curricula at the UA-CVM. Some diagnostic service duties at the Arizona Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (VDL) may be included as time and interests allow.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UA-CVM faculty leading pre-clinical organ-system block courses to ensure integration of general and clinical pathology across the continuum of program and deliver curriculum content to veterinary students within the CVM vision of evidence-based Team-Based Learning and Peer Instruction pedagogy.
- Partner with faculty and staff from the UA-CVM and VDL in the development, delivery, and refinement of the diagnostic pathology rotation for students within the clinical year of the veterinary medical doctorate curriculum.
- Leverage clinical pathology experiences to support the development and implementation of creative opportunities for student engagement and learning both within and outside the curriculum.
- Be accessible to cohorts of veterinary students for office hours and scheduled meetings to assist students with learning.
- Engage in ongoing assessment and professional development and participate in programs and professional organizations to facilitate innovation and application of subject matter expertise using best learning practices.
- Engage in the CVM collegial community, the University community, and the larger global academic community through participation in shared governance, advisory committees, and academic/professional society meetings.
- Additional duties on the diagnostic cytology service at the VDL will be assigned as time and interest allow. Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- DVM/VMD degree (or international equivalent) with advanced training in veterinary clinical pathology.
- Eligible for ACVP or ECVP board certification in veterinary clinical pathology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in 四虎影视 a range of students (undergraduate, graduate, and/or professional) using active learning techniques.
- Board certification in veterinary clinical pathology (ACVP or ECVP).
- Prior experience (post-education/training) in diagnostic pathology.
