Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with Columbia University in the search for an Executive Vice President for University
Development and Alumni Relations.

Reporting to the President of Columbia University, the Executive Vice President for University
Development and Alumni Relations (EVP) will provide strategic oversight to the University's comprehensive alumni and development program
with the goal of inspiring new levels of engagement, commitment, and philanthropic support from the global Columbia community and beyond.
The EVP will serve as a frequent representative of the University externally, often in partnership with the President and other key leaders
including the Provost, Deans, Senior Administrators, and faculty members.

There are three overarching priorities for the EVP: to
secure philanthropic gifts that support Columbia's highest priorities, to strengthen the engagement of Columbia's largest constituency – its
425,000 alumni – as well as parents, grateful patients, organizations, and many others who support the University, and to lead and expand an
alumni relations and development community that is collaborative and based on core values of the institution.

Columbia University is the oldest institution of higher education in New York, and the fifth oldest in the United States. The University
offers an outstanding and comprehensive array of academic programs. These include three undergraduate schools, fifteen graduate and
professional schools, a world-renowned medical center, four affiliated colleges and seminaries, twenty-five libraries, and more than one
hundred research centers and institutes.

University Development and Alumni Relations advances Columbia's highest academic and
institutional priorities and ensures ongoing financial resources for the University through fundraising while fostering an enthusiastic and
engaged community of alumni who serve as ambassadors for Columbia and its mission. Functionally, University Development and Alumni Relations
partners with academic leaders to build relationships and secure philanthropic support; directs and leads University-wide fundraising
campaigns; leads centralized advancement support services; assists University leadership with events and outreach; administers the Columbia
Alumni Association; and oversees alumni engagement and communications. The Office of University Development and Alumni Relations also serves
as a central resource for stewardship and gift planning and leads the University-wide Annual Giving Day.

At least 15 years of
experience across the range of development functions, with substantial exposure to and involvement in alumni relations and/or communications
programs, is required for this position. Columbia University will consider candidates with a broad range of backgrounds. If you are excited

The target
