The
Position
- The Assistant Dean for the Online Education Program supports the
strategic and administrative operations of
the OU College of Nursing鈥檚 online programs, serving on the Academic Affairs leadership team and
Dean鈥檚 Council while partnering with key
stakeholders to implement policies and ensure alignment with institutional priorities. - This leader will report to the Assistant
Dean of Academic Affairs. - This leader will play a key role in the development,
evaluation, and enhancement of online nursing
programs, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and driving the strategic growth of
the RN-to-BSN online program. They will also
foster a collaborative environment, strengthen cross-campus partnerships, and enhance the
overall student experience. - Ideal
candidates will bring demonstrated leadership experience in academic nursing and online
education, preferably within a college of nursing or
academic health environment. The ability to coach and mentor faculty and staff, think
strategically, and collaborate across departments will
be essential, along with excellent communication and relationship-building
skills.
Requirements
- Master鈥檚 degree in Nursing required; DNP or PhD required.
- Active RN license
required. - Minimum of three years of higher education 四虎影视 experience, along with at least five years of progressive leadership
experience in
higher education and two years of experience in online education.
