Job Description

The Department of Forest 四虎影视 and Environmental Conservation at Virginia Tech is hiring a program coordinator. This position will be funded by the Joint Fire Science Program to support the Consortium of Appalachian Fire Managers and Scientists (CAFMS). Since 2009, CAFMS has served as the primary source of fire science information and knowledge exchange for the Appalachian Mountain region.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S. in natural resources management or a similar discipline
  • FFT2 Wildland Firefighter certification desired
  • Experience in event planning, database management, and social media platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in natural resources or a related field
