JOB
SUMMARY:
Responsible for ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ courses in the Precision Machining Technology program, with emphasis on foundational machining skills,
manual machining, CNC basics, print reading, and introductory CAD/CAM. Other duties include curriculum development & revision, student
advisement, student recruitment activities, committee participation, assessment of student learning, and related departmental and college
responsibilities. The successful applicant will be expected to embrace the use of technology in ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ and learning and must be highly
motivated, self-directed, and able to analyze and solve problems while working effectively in a team-centered environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must support the mission, vision, and values of NDSCS.
  • Associate in Applied Science
    (AAS) degree in Precision Machining or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent, relevant industry machining
    experience.
  • Experience with manual and CNC machining operations.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability
    to teach students with varying levels of experience and ability.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient machining laboratory
    environment.
  • Strong computer literacy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Career &
    Technical Education or a related field.
  • Teaching or industry training experience.
  • Experience with Haas CNC equipment
    or Haas control systems.
  • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., NIMS, MSSC, OSHA).
  • Experience with tool and die
    and/or mold making.

SALARY: Starting at $59,163, commensurate with education and experience

BENEFITS:
NDSCS offers a comprehensive benefits package with an estimated value of over $25,000. The package includes single or family health
