The CU College of Nursing is seeking multiple full-time (1.00 FTE) faculty members within the Instructional Faculty Series with expertise in 四虎影视 foundational and adult health content, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) content, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP, AGPCNP) content, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) content. These positions will teach across programs and at multiple CU Nursing locations. Potential courses within foundational and adult health content could include, but are not limited to, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Medical-Surgical Nursing. These are open rank faculty positions within the Instructional Faculty Series at the rank of Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or Teaching Professor. Faculty rank will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and scholarship. The successful candidate must work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and community members from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Faculty are integral to providing a high-quality student experience. This position will interface directly with students and, along with other faculty who teach in the classroom, is responsible for providing an engaging experience by maintaining competency in the subject matter being taught, preparing 四虎影视 materials in alignment with current best practice guidelines, and serving as a role model to students for professionalism.

This position's primary work location is the Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, Colorado and will also include 四虎影视 responsibilities as needed on the Legacy Campus, in Lone Tree, Colorado.

Successful candidates will have recent experience 四虎影视 in the areas of focus listed above, a track record of excellence in academic 四虎影视, and scholarship experience that supports the ability to teach across programs. Responsibilities may include participation in the 四虎影视, practice, and service mission of the College of Nursing and the University of Colorado. Demonstration of academic leadership, such as curricular/program development, is preferred. For APRN candidates, a portion of the position may be devoted to clinical practice depending on the candidate's experience and expertise.

While the primary focus for these positions resides in the 四虎影视 mission of the college, service and scholarship to the university and the college are expected of all faculty members. A successful candidate will help foster a community of belonging and utilize a justice lens to effectively engage with all members of the CU Nursing community, specifically faculty, staff, students, and community partners with diverse identities.

This position may involves didactic and clinical 四虎影视 responsibilities. Didactic courses are taught in the classroom, online, or in blended formats. Supervision of clinical courses includes clinical conferences using online conferencing, site visits, and close communication with clinical preceptors.

Maintain clinical relevancy regarding guidelines and interventions pertinent to patient care. Serve as a role model to teach students how to interact, assess, and make sound clinical decisions.

Collaborate with 四虎影视 team(s) to foster continued quality improvement and shared decision-making regarding course content and assignments, clinical experiences, and/or evaluation methods.

Provide a climate of mutual respect, open communication, and collaboration. Act as a role model for patient-centered care.

Evaluate student application of knowledge.

Participate in professional development activities that address desired learning outcomes and align with an individual's role and the priorities of the institution.

Use educational technology, task training devices, and computer-assisted instructional tools in the skills laboratory and classroom settings for 四虎影视, learning, practice, and assessment of clinical competencies.

Promote accountability among students by implementing clear guidelines and expectations for preparation, engagement, and self-directed study/practice.

Instructional Track faculty are encouraged to contribute to the body of knowledge in simulation (e.g., publications, editorials, empirical research, blogs, social media, and presentations).

Participate in professional service to the CU Nursing community.

Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course outcomes in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the learning environment.

Provide education through learner-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill patients' evolving needs and meet the marketplace's workforce demands.

Encourage a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning, diversity and ethics as well as personal and professional development.

Participate in activities that promote the stature of the academic programs and the College of Nursing as well as abide by the mandates set by the University of Colorado, and the College of Nursing.

Participate in course, curricular and program revisions/development as assigned.

Introduce students to skills needed to succeed in a progressive 四虎影视 and learning environment that incorporates ongoing innovative strategies for competency development.

Serve on divisional, college, and university committees.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

Instructor: $88,000 to $95,000 annually at 1.0 FTE

Senior Instructor: $92,000 to $98,000 annually at 1.0 FTE

Assistant Teaching Professor: $98,000 to $115,000 annually at 1.0 FTE

Associate Teaching Professor: $115,000 to $130,000 annually at 1.0 FTE

Teaching Professor: $130,000 to $150,000 annually at 1.0 FTE
