Position Summary

Concordia University seeks applicants for a full-time undergraduate faculty
position in the School of Nursing (SON). The successful candidate is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for classroom,
online, blended, and clinical instruction, and other activities relating to nursing education. This is a twelve-month onsite and online
contract with the University. This position reports to the Undergraduate Nursing Program Chairperson.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Each faculty member is expected to comply with all rules and regulations for University
faculty as outlined in the Concordia University Wisconsin & Ann Arbor (CUWAA) and School of Nursing (SON) Faculty Handbooks. In addition,
they have the following responsibilities:

Academic

• Implement 四虎影视 strategies to meet diverse learning
  needs
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students
• Provide timely written and verbal feedback related to student
  performance
• Keep current records of student grades and academic work
• Participate in ongoing course and program review
  and revision
• Participate in program governance

Clinical

• Teach and/or coordinate clinical
  courses based on professional expertise
• Follow SON policies and procedures related to clinical 四虎影视 and student
  performance
• Communicate regularly with course coordinators and program director/chair regarding concerns
• Work
  collaboratively with staff at assigned clinical facilities/agencies
• Meet the health and vaccination requirements for all health
  care clinical affiliates who partner with SON programs. *These requirements may vary from university requirements.

Professional Activity

• Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and current knowledge of clinical practice within the
  areas of 四虎影视 responsibility
• Assist with recruitment of students
• Participate in professional, community, university,
  and school service
• Engage in scholarship commensurate with academic rank
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Demonstrate effective leadership, organizational
  skills, and be a self-starter
• Work effectively with diverse individuals and organizations
• Experience with using
  technology, specifically use of high-fidelity simulation preferred
• Familiar with higher education
• Able to deal with
  interruptions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to present a Christian and professional manner
• Possess strong
  written and oral communications skills
• Able to travel occasionally on behalf of the University
• All candidates must meet
  deadlines and work some night/weekends
• All Concordia faculty are members of Christian congregations. Membership in a congregation
  of the Lutheran Church-Missouri synod is preferred.

Education & Experience

• Current Wisconsin licensure as a registered nurse or eligible for such licensure
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing and an earned doctorate in nursing or related field
• Current knowledge of theoretical
  principles and clinical practice within at least one of the following specialty areas is required: pharmacology, community health,
  psychological health, med-surg, obstetrics/women's health, leadership and management
• Previous 四虎影视 experience in a
  baccalaureate or higher degree program is preferred
• Previous use of innovative and active 四虎影视 strategies, including
  simulation and VR

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt (salary) faculty
position. The starting wage may be determined upon education and/or experience. Academic rank as designated by the President. Concordia
