, in partnership with the national search firm , invites applications and nominations for the position of Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Director. Hanover College seeks an innovative and visionary leader to serve as Program Director. This 12-month administrative position is open to individuals with a faculty rank of Associate Professor or Professor and offers an exciting opportunity to lead and advance a distinctive hybrid program that combines the flexibility of online/remote education with the hands-on learning of in-person immersive lab experiences. The Program Director role itself reflects this model and is designed as a hybrid leadership position.

The program is hybrid and accelerated, with approximately 50% of coursework delivered online and the remaining 50% divided between clinical education and on-campus immersive lab experiences. This structure provides students with the flexibility of remote learning while ensuring robust hands-on training and clinical preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision and strategic leadership for the DPT program in alignment with Hanover College's mission.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support professional development of faculty and staff; foster a collaborative academic culture that promotes excellence in 四虎影视, scholarship, and service.
  • Oversee delivery of a contemporary, evidence-based curriculum that meets accreditation standards and achieves program goals and expected outcomes.
  • Support innovation in hybrid 四虎影视 and learning while ensuring program outcomes and licensure readiness.
  • Ensure student support systems are in place to promote academic achievement, professional development, and wellness.
  • Use assessment data and community of interest feedback to guide continuous improvement in curriculum, instruction, and student outcomes.
  • Develop, maintain, and uphold administrative and academic regulations, policies, and procedures that meet accreditation standards and achieve program goals and expected outcomes.
  • Oversee program budget and allocate resources to support academic, clinical, and operational needs.
  • Travel to on-site lab immersions to support the students and faculty.
  • Represent the DPT Program to Hanover College, the community, and the profession of physical therapy; attend designated College activities.

Required Qualifications:

1. Earned terminal academic doctorate in a discipline appropriate for leadership

2. Senior faculty rank (Associate Professor or higher), with experience consistent with the Hanover College system for the designated faculty rank

3. Six years of experience in higher education, with at least three years as a full-time core faculty member in a physical therapy program

4. Leadership and CAPTE accreditation experience

5. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, including students, administration, faculty, and staff

6. Licensed or eligible for physical therapist licensure in Indiana

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous Program Director experience with a track record of supporting student success, faculty development, enrollment, and licensure pass rates

2. A Program Director who can embrace Hanover's institutional culture and understands Hanover's accelerated and hybrid model of DPT education

3. Proven experience as a strong team builder and collaborator. A leader and communicator who inspires faculty, staff and students to be their best

4. Significant CAPTE accreditation experience with Annual reports, reaccreditation, compliance reports, and program assessment
