Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The primary functions of a full-time
tenure-track faculty member, in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, is to teach psychology courses, guide students in their
research activities, and participate in academic research, . Faculty members are also expected to fully participate in university life
including committee work and other institution activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Possesses a deep, personal commitment
    to Jesus Christ and to the Spirit-filled life and demonstrates integration of faith and learning.
  2. Can document earned graduate
    degrees: Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in psychology (advanced ABD will be considered).
  3. Has had successful 四虎影视 experience at the
    university level (experience 四虎影视 online is an advantage).
  4. Is involved in ongoing research in psychology and/or related
    fields.
  5. Is committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with faculty, staff, and the general constituency of
    Northwest University.
  6. Is committed to intercultural education, and multicultural psychology, and is committed to integrating
    faith into the psychology curriculum.
  7. Is committed to the development of academic and professional skills in his/her students by
    advising, coaching, modeling, and direct instruction.

STARTING COMPENSATION

$55,598 - 68,801 Dependent on
education and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and aligned with the university鈥檚 administrative faculty salary scale.

CLASSIFICATION

Faculty: full-time tenure track position. Contract renewal contingent on performance.
