JOB SUMMARY: The Enrollment Specialist supports recruitment and
enrollment efforts through proactive outreach, engagement with prospective students, and guidance throughout the enrollment process. Based
in Fargo, this role includes occasional travel to the Wahpeton campus, as well as overnight travel and flexible work hours.
Success
in this role requires a motivated, personable professional with strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. The
Enrollment Specialist must effectively engage diverse audiences, build trust with students and families, and collaborate with high school
partners, community organizations, industry stakeholders, and academic program areas. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail,
adaptability, and the ability to manage a recruitment territory independently are essential.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, marketing, or related field, or a minimum of three years of experience in related field
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including evenings and weekends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
including public speaking - Ability to effectively engage and build strong relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work
independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment and maintain positive working relationships - Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suit and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience
in college admissions, recruitment, sales, or student services - Familiarity with enrollment management strategies and recruitment
cycles - Experience working with high school students, families, or community organizations
- Experience planning events,
campus visits, or outreach programs
SALARY: $50,000-$55,000, commensurate with education and experience
BENEFITS: NDSCS offers a comprehensive benefits package with an estimated value of over $25,000. The package includes single or
family health insurance coverage with premiums paid for by the College – with an effective date for new employees the first of the month
