Nursing Instructor
Demonstrate and teach patient care in classroom and clinical units to PN nursing students. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ and those who do a combination of both ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ and research. Evaluates & grades students’ class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers. Prepare and deliver lectures to students on topics such as pharmacology, mental health nursing, community health care practices, medical-surgical, and maternal child. Planning, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work as a team player. Proficient with office software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Proficient with office equipment. Must possess a current SD nursing license. Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, master’s degree Preferred. Minimum one year of clinical experience in the area/s of ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ responsibilities.
