SALARY:

$48,488.70 to $68,810 per year. The salary of the
finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience,
education, and credentials. The RVU Rank and Promotions Committee will determine rank of any finalist.

Primary Purpose

To direct and teach in the Rural & Wilderness Medicine Track and be an active faculty
member in the Department of Tracks and Special Programs through participation in 四虎影视, service, and innovative
scholarship.

Essential Job Functions

  • Direct the education and instruction of medical students and other
    healthcare professional students while providing mentorship and motivation for learning, research and scholarly activity in classroom
    environments, clinical settings, active learning groups, laboratory experience and research opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain
    scheduled office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation and consultation.
  • Provide professional and clinical services
    consistent with training and degree as assigned by administration and chair.
  • Provide service to the university community and
    students through serving on COM and department committees, providing leadership, mentorship and expertise to student, participating in
    community outreach events and with professional organizations or groups as assigned by the Dean or Department Chair, or an assigned
    designee.
  • Participate in curriculum development, assessment and modification as a part of the colleges ongoing quality improvement
    and assessment program.
  • Participate in the assessment or evaluation of and provide feed back to other members of the faculty as a
    portion of the colleges ongoing quality improvement and assessment program.
  • Maintain a personal and professional development plan
    and portfolio, including documentation of 四虎影视, professional development activities and plans, service provided to college and
    communities, scholarly activity and research to assure personal growth and continued competency with specialty field.
  • Demonstrate
    the highest standard of professionalism and ethical behavior in all aspects of personal and professional actions and
    performance.
  • Demonstrate and role model an ongoing ability to work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors and support
    staff.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and the willingness to assist the university and college in fulfilling its mission and vision
    through 四虎影视, academic administrative duties (course/system coordinator), providing patient care, community service and/or perform
    special duties as assigned.
  • Advance the prestige of the University and College through advancement of its mission and vision and
    advancement of your personal career.
Marginal Job Functions
  • Assist administration, faculty and staff in
    special projects as required.
  • Act as liaison between the College and the professional community.
  • Participate in community
    and professional outreach activities on behalf of the college and the university.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the delivery of medical education.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of varied
    curriculum templates.
  • Demonstrate ability to mentor and motivate students and peers.
Minimum
Qualifications
  • Appropriate Terminal degree (i.e. Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Medical Doctor, Doctor of Philosophy) from
    an accredited institution. In good standing with all regulatory and governmental boards and agencies, and eligible for coverage by college's
    malpractice insurer, if applicable.
  • Appropriate experience and/or training for the track concentration.
  • Experience 四虎影视
    in academic or clinical settings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification or Expertise in relevant area, if
    applicable.
  • Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience in clinical, professional or educational settings.
  • Two (2)
    years or more 四虎影视 in a medical school or graduate medical program, particularly an osteopathic medical school.
  • Demonstrated
    proficiency in scholarly activity and medical research.
