About the Department and/or College
Major/Essential Functions
- Maintain and perform quality control of Property Surplus Inventory, asset-tagged Property Inventory items, internal enterprise data systems, assets sold via online auction platforms, assets transferred to internal and external parties, and other key data indicators.
- Provide on-site support for various Relocation and Surplus warehouse and field operations. Interact with interested parties with professionalism and authority.
- Communicate with other departments to initiate and account for transferred property inventory, update the Property Inventory System, and ensure accurate inventory information.
- Think critically and creatively, while paying close attention to detail. Exercise independent judgment and make decisions based on established guidelines, state laws, compliance standards, and job experience.
- Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate, and input Property Surplus Inventory data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance with university and state reporting and procedural standards.
- Ensure that all information, projects, data, and reports are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicated.

- Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SQL Database, SQL Reporting Services
- Previous experience in implementation of inventory systems/tracking
