Department Summary
The Associate Director of the Ohio Bobcat Club will have an internal focus with primary responsibilities including oversight of the annual campaign, coordination of the premium seating and parking program, planning all donor events and management of a donor portfolio.
Representative Duties: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Ohio Bobcat Club annual campaign. This includes but not limited to directing all annual appeals, database management, developing the annual membership brochure, administering the benefits associated with the various giving levels, creating a plan to address retention and attrition.
2. Coordinate the men's basketball and football premium seating and parking process. Serve as the liaison between the OBC and ticket office. Manage premium seat inventory and oversee allocation process. Develop season ticket renewal and donation forms. Schedule follow up of unpledged and non-renewed season ticket holders. Work with Parking Services on issues related to donor reserve parking.
3. Coordinate and plan all donor events. This includes Bobcat caravans, hospitality village, pre-game receptions, and reunions. The OBC conducts six caravans a year around the state, hospitality village prior to every home football game, various pre-game receptions, and reunions.
4. Manage a portfolio of mid-level annual donors including some lower-level major gift donors. Increase giving among assigned donors and move them through the donor cycle; identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
5. Serve as a sport specific fundraiser for various programs.
Position Profile
Plans and executes the University's campaign for annual gift support from all constituents, including alumni. Provides support in stewardship and recognition efforts for annual fund donors. Cultivates relationships with alumni, donors, foundations, and corporations to support the University's mission. Ensures the University has the resources necessary for growth and engages the community to advance its long-term goals.
Level Summary
Provides professional expertise to the University community. Serves as a resource and guide to others in the department and/or university. Completes operational tasks essential for the daily functioning of the University. Additionally, contributes to larger projects or initiatives that align with department or University goals, often collaborating across teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May assist in mentoring or training new employees.
Fiscal Responsibilities
No budgetary responsibility. May be responsible for validating transactions.
Problem Solving
Handles a variety of problems with some independence.
Independence of Action
Some supervision; able to work independently on routine tasks.
Communication and Collaboration
Collaborates with team members and shares knowledge.
Physical Requirements
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Pay Rate: Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials. The targeted salary range for this position is $51,281 - $62,022.
