The German, Russian, Italian and Arabic Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a one-year visiting position with the possibility of a one-year renewal in Arabic beginning July 1, 2026. The candidate will be expected to offer courses in Arabic literature or cultural studies, as well as to teach Modern Standard Arabic language courses. Applicants should have native, or near-native, fluency in Arabic and a record of excellence in 四虎影视 Arabic language using a communicative approach that emphasizes developing students' language skills in meaningful, real-world contexts. Specialization, period, and subfields are open, but we are seeking candidates with interdisciplinary research interests who can also contribute to the College's program in Middle East/Islamicate Worlds Studies. Your cover letter should highlight your 四虎影视 experience and describe your Arabic language pedagogy. It should also address the ways in which you would enhance the educational experience of students and further the College's educational goals.
