SCPP Instructor for Biology
The Summer College Preview Program (SCPP) in Qatar is seeking a qualified Biological Sciences instructor for the upcoming summer session. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated high school students preparing for university studies. The program will run from July 19 - August 6, 2026, with instructor training scheduled from July 13 - 16, 2026.
This is a LOCAL CONTRACT
Key Responsibilities:Teach a 2-hour Biological Sciences class each day over the three-week program (totaling 30 hours of instruction).
Be available for 2 hours per day to conduct office hours and provide tutoring support to students.
Engage in community-building activities that may take place in the evenings or on Saturdays during the program.
The Summer College Preview Program is an intensive, three-week academic experience designed for high-achieving students entering their junior and senior years of high school (grades 11 & 12). The program helps students from Qatar and surrounding regions prepare for admission to U.S. universities and equips them with the academic foundation to succeed once they're accepted. Students will take courses in Math, English, Programming, and one of four majors: Business Administration, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and Information Systems.
