SCPP Instructor for Information Systems
The Summer College Preview Program (SCPP) in Qatar is looking for a skilled Information Systems instructor for the upcoming summer session. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach high school students who are eager to prepare for university-level studies. The program will run from July 19 - August 6, 2026, with instructor training scheduled from July 13 - 16, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach a 2-hour Information Systems class each day during the three-week program (totaling 30 hours of instruction).
Be available for 2 hours per day for office hours and tutoring sessions to assist students with coursework.
Participate in community-building activities, which may take place in the evenings and/or on Saturdays during the program.
The Summer College Preview Program is a rigorous, three-week academic experience designed for high-achieving students entering their junior and senior years of high school (grades 11 & 12). The program is focused on preparing students from Qatar and surrounding regions for admission to U.S. universities and helping them build the skills needed to excel once they're accepted. Students will take courses in Math, English, Programming, and one of the four majors offered: Business Administration, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and Information Systems.
