About the Department and/or College

Major/Essential Functions
Intern Responsibilities:
Interns will assist with various projects specific to their assigned area of the department. These may include:
  • Development of potential procedure improvement steps
  • Assisting with room assignments, tours, etc.
  • Assisting with tabling and student recruitment during Red Raider Orientation.
  • Assisting with camp and conferences check-ins and check-outs.
  • Facilitating client meetings
  • Cross training and working with housekeeping for building turnovers
  • Serving in an on-call rotation
  • Coordinating final details for camps and conferences with clients
  • Providing direct or indirect supervision of student paraprofessionals
  • Attend departmental staff meetings
  • Serve on departmental committees, task forces, or assist with collateral assignments to create and implement intentional experiences that support the department and university mission.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree. Applicants in a Higher Education or related graduate program with an expressed interest in Housing/Residence Life will be given first consideration.

Preferred Qualifications

Pay Range
$13.00 - $16.92 - $20.82
