LessCCAOM was formed for the purpose of advancing the status of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the United States by promoting educational excellence within the field. By promoting educational excellence within the field, the Council has assisted the acceptance of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the United States.
LessCCAS's purpose is to provide professional-development programming to its member deans and to sustain the arts and sciences as a leading influence in American higher education. CCAS will provide state-of-the-art professional development, managerial resources, and leadership opportunities for Arts and Sciences deans, chairs, and staff.
LessFor more than five decades, the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) has been the national voice for the graduate dean community. CGS is the only national organization in the United States that is dedicated solely to the advancement of graduate education and research. CGS accomplishes its mission through advocacy in the policy arena, innovative research, and the development and dissemination of best practices. CGS also acts as a convening authority, organizing major events that bring together graduate deans and other stakeholders to discuss and take action on a broad range of issues affecting graduate education today.
LessCGS seeks to advance graduate education and research. Members consist of colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations and corporations. The goals of CGS are 1) to find solutions to issues related to graduate education, 2) provide data to institutions for assessment purposes, public policy and advocacy, and 3) assist institutions in promoting their graduate programs globally. CGS also maintains GradSense, which is a financial education site for students.
LessCIC is an association of nonprofit independent colleges and universities that has worked since 1956 to support college and university leadership; advance institutional excellence; and enhance public understanding of private higher education’s contributions to society.
LessCOP strives to be a common voice for the public baccalaureate sector and the resource for decision makers on issues affecting public higher education. COP serves as the coordinating role for initiatives and activities common to the public baccalaureate institutions, fostering coordination and collaboration among the public baccalaureates as well as with other educational partners.
LessThe goal of CSA is to create and promote an effective community of cultural studies practitioners and scholars, to represent the field and its committed practitioners everywhere, and to advance cultural studies knowledges, projects, approaches, and methodologies throughout the world. CSA publishes its own journal, Lateral, a digital journal and designed to foster experimentation and collaboration among cultural studies practitioners and researchers.
LessEACUBO's primary goal is to provide high quality professional development opportunities that are relevant and timely. EACUBO has a diverse membership of institutions and organizations, post-secondary institutions, and other agencies and for-profit organizations affiliated with or serving with higher education.
LessEACE develops educational programs/services and facilitates connections and interaction between employers who seek to hire college students and alumni, the career services personnel who serve those students, and the associate members who serve the profession.
Less
